We spent the day out in Guanajuato doing Arlene and Javier's engagement shoot. What I love most about shooting on location is being around the locals. Afterall, it's the locals that make a place special and distinct. The day started off hot and sunny, and then the rains came without warning. Living in the SF Bay Area, I really miss those afternoon thundershowers. We just don't get them.

The big day is tomorrow!

San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. And that is not hyperbole. American photographer Carol Stein once took pictures of the walls of San Miguel and did an entire gallery book and exhibition with it. The natural light here has been attracting painters for generations. I came here for the first time 4 yrs ago, and I'm blessed to be able to visit again for Javier and Arlene's wedding. We have 2 days of shooting before the actual ceremony on Saturday. Stay tuned...

What a goofy, fun couple! Megan and Jae are originally from the East Coast, so we made sure to get some very Frisco shots just in case they have to move back. We spent the day hanging out at the (freezing) beach, checking out the very cool Federal building, walking around Fort Point, and just horsin' around all over town:

Liz and Adam are getting married in Orange County in August, but they wanted a definite SF flavor to their shoot. So we hung out at Coit Tower (where Adam proposed), Pier 7, and just walked around SF neighborhoods. The first ESHOOT of 2009. Feels good!
